The Women Development Cell organized a legal awareness class on "Women Rights and Law" on 18th December 2024 at 2:00 PM. The session was coordinated by Ms. Divya P and conducted by Adv. Hany K.V., who serves as a Panel Lawyer at the Taluk Legal Services Committee (TLSC), Ponnani. The primary aim of the program was to create awareness among women regarding their legal rights and empower them with the knowledge to safeguard and
assert these rights in everyday life. The program commenced with an introduction by the coordinator, Ms. Divya P, who welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of legal literacy, particularly for women. She emphasized how awareness of laws can help women tackle social injustices and discrimination.
Adv. Hany K.V. then took over the session, delivering an insightful and interactive talk on various aspects of women's rights and legal frameworks in India.
