In connection with the remembrance of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, K.V. Ustad Memorial Darul Hidaya Arts & Science College, Pookkarathara, organized a series of programs.
The event began with a welcome address by Vinitha Miss, faculty of the Malayalam Department. The inauguration was carried out by Surekha Miss, Head of the Commerce Department, while Aswathi Miss, Head of the English Department, delivered the vote of thanks.
As part of the program, quiz and essay competitions were conducted for students from Darul Hidaya institutions at Kandanakam, Edappal, and Pookkarathara. A drama presented by the college students, based on the works of Basheer, was a highlight of the event. The program was marked by active student participation and concluded successfully.
