REPORT ON INDUSTRIAL VISIT

An industrial visit to Milma Kozhikode Dairy was organized on 21st February 2025 for a group of 40 students from B. com, BBA and M. Com. The visit aimed to provide insights into dairy processing, quality control, and supply chain management. Milma (Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation) is a leading dairy cooperative in Kerala, known for its efficient milk procurement, processing, and distribution system. The Kozhikode Dairy is one of its key processing units, equipped with advanced technology for pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging The industrial visit to Milma Kozhikode Dairy was highly informative and provided students with practical exposure to the dairy industry. It helped them understand the technical, managerial, and operational aspects of dairy processing. The visit successfully enhanced their knowledge and appreciation of the dairy sector’s role in food production and supply chain management.
