WORLD WATER DAY-2025
The NSS unit of KV Ustad Memorial Darul Hidaya Arts and Science College organized a visit to the Water Treatment Plant,Ponnani subdivision on March 22, 2025, to
commemorate World Water Day.The objective of this visit was to educate volunteers about the process of water treatment and the importance of water conservation.Upon arrival, Mr. Ranjit,The plant operator conducted a session on the working of the plant, explaining the various stages of water treatment including:
-Water intake from source
- Sedimentation
- Filtration
- Disinfection
- Storage and distribution
