International Mountain Day, celebrated annually on December 11, aims to raiseawareness about the importance of mountains in environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and the livelihoods of millions of people globally. This year, the Geology Association "Terra" of KVUMDHO Arts and Sceince college hosted an informative and engaging event to honor the significance of mountains, both in geological terms and in their contribution to global ecosystems. The event featured a seminar, a quiz competition, and recognition of outstanding participants.
