
The Department of Commerce was started in 2003. It aims to nurture Commerce Professionals with a high level of knowledge and competence to effectively contribute to the society with commitment and integrity. The department started regular B.Com program with Computer Application in 2003. To ensure that women of the society were not left behind in academics, the college was made a Women’s College in 2012, B.B.A Marketing in 2015 and M.Com (Finance) courses in 2017 were started. The department offers teaching methods such as case studies, field visits and project works. Besides the regular program, the department also offers value added academics, extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
